Founder & Principal Advisor
CA Tirth Shah is the Founder and Principal Advisor of MyTaxLedger. He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI) and holds the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) awarded by the Chartered Institute of Taxation, United Kingdom.
His work sits where Indian tax law meets cross-border business. On one side are international taxation, DTAA advisory and transfer pricing, where he gives reasoned opinions and prepares documentation for groups and businesses with India-linked transactions. On the other are income-tax and GST litigation, where he represents clients in appellate proceedings before the Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals), the Dispute Resolution Panel and the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal.
That litigation experience shapes how MyTaxLedger works. A file that has to survive scrutiny is built differently from one that only has to be filed: facts are documented, positions are reasoned and open points are raised early. He brings the same discipline to bookkeeping, financial statements and return preparation for accounting firms abroad.
He trained and worked within established chartered accountancy practices before founding MyTaxLedger, writes regularly on tax developments for professional readers, and leads the firm’s team from Ahmedabad.

MyTaxLedger is a Chartered Accountant-led firm based in Ahmedabad, India. We exist to serve two kinds of client: accounting firms abroad that want a dependable back-office, and businesses whose operations or investments connect them to India.
We provide accounting and tax services in nine markets: the USA, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Australia, Singapore, the UAE, Ireland and Latin America. For firms, we work white-label, in your software and under your brand. For businesses, we handle India-side compliance, advisory and disputes alongside the accounting.
Our model combines an in-house team of 10 employees with expert partnerships in these markets, so that local requirements are handled with local expertise. Where local law requires a locally authorised professional to sign or file, that step stays with them.
